West Tavarro is a 19 year old artist out of Boston, MA and boy, has he been going crazy. Although he has been recording music for 4 years, he has one just body of work out, his debut album "Impressions" and a few features, but thats it. A bold appraoch, some may say, but he's definitely made it work for himself. After releaseing his album, he went straight to promoting his music on Tik Tok, which is where he started to draw in his main following. The song that probably garnered the most appreciation through Tik Tok is his song "Lover's Song"
Lover's Song is an extremely groovy track that gives off the same vibes that a scene from "Roll Bounce" would give off (in the best way possible.) Him and his feature (Teevio) glide over the instrumental with their vocal performance, and their penmanship. Tavarro's knack for catching a melody over these non-conventional beats is what sets him far apart from other artists in his lane. The hook shines emphatically on this song, as this is far and away the catchiest part of the entire song.
There aren't many, if any, 19 year olds making music this high level and unique sounding, and I would definitely say Tavarro is in a lane of his own.
