Know anyone in need of a song to share their first dance to at their wedding? If so, Dylan Reese has them covered. Dropping what's felt like a myriad of releases this year, 'Shut Your Mouth' is yet another installment of the heartwarming RnB ballads that this artist doesn't seem to run out of.
I really can't get enough of this song. Rhodes piano takes lead from the beginning, as silky-smooth vocal runs fill the empty spaces. It's such a sweet, romantic tone that introduces us to a wave of emotion before any lyrics are even sung. Speaking of the songwriting, we're then blessed with this evolving story of finding true love throughout the track's 3 minutes. I love how it feels like Reese is singing directly to his love interest. This style of writing draws the listener into this intimate moment, allowing us to experience the full perspective of feelings present in the song. I have a feeling that once you hear it, you won't be able to get enough, either.
