Mati is the Minneapolis-native artist that's continuously pushing the boundaries of hip-hop and RnB music. With just four songs released, he's already shown he can be a trailblazer for his city and break out into the mainstream. His latest, 'Pressure,' is a master class in the art of melodic flows and emotion-packed deliveries.
One thing I really love about this record is the attention to detail throughout. From minimalistic production textures to perfectly chosen ad libs placed between lines, everything comes together to create a vibe that's so relaxing, yet wildly exhilarating. Not to mention Mati's insane pen game, beautifully dropping in bar after bar whilst maintaining a concise message that everyone can relate to.
