Jordan Ward has been a tear since last year and his newest project, Forward, seems to be the culmination of all of his hard work over the last year. The project is absolutely electric from top to bottom and genuinely has zero misses across the board.
Ward's style is one of the more disticnt and unique in the R&B genre, and something about it just keeps you hooked. From my first time hearing "CHERIMOYA" to hearing it again as the last song on the project, each second of Ward's music contains a new surprise, whether it be a crazy vocal, an addictive instrumental, or an outstanding feature. My personal favorite track on the album is IDC, which features the fast-rising Maryland star "Joony"
It seems like every year, a new artist jumps out the fold and starts making crazy waves in music. With Ward's newest project, I'd bet that house that he'll be the next to do so. He can't seem to miss, and with a true 10/10 project, some heads will definitely be turned upon listening.
