I first met FLASCH in Minneapolis right before the pandemic and had the pleasure of working with them on some music when we were both really just starting to find our own sounds. What I most admire about this artist is the constant growth they've experienced over the past few years, and how that change has reflected in the music. From indie pop ballads to all-out electro-punk rock styles, FLASCH has never strayed away from making music that is true to them.
'ONE OF THEM' is the perfect example of that growth, as it details FLASCH's journey to discovering exactly who they are, and who they want to be. I love the raw, almost angsty feel to the guitar chords, complimented by grungy textures and twinkly chimes that are perfectly juxtaposing. Pair that with FLASCH's energetic vocal delivery that's packed with emotion, and it makes for a song so incredibly catchy.
