Every artist has to start somewhere. Some start by posting videos of them singing on socials, some start by releasing demos on soundcloud. Dhruvy, on the other hand, came out the gates swinging. His song "queen of the shells" is his first, and when I say that he sounds like he has been making and releasing music for a decade, I mean it.
queen of the shells is an extremely groovy, funky track with a lot of super polished musical elements. The instrumental is extremely dynamic, employing a super catchy guitar and some crazy drums near the end. The vocal is phenomenal, and the lyrics are written with emotion-invoking intent. The vocal is also mixed extremely purely, and the song isn't too short or too long, making it an extremely fun listen for a few spins back to back. It is still baffling that this is dhruvy's first release. It sounds incredible and is definitely one of my favorite tracks I've heard in the recent summer months.
dhruvy has shown a big early flash of whats to come with his first release, and I can't say that there are too many things more exciting than getting to watch an artist go from their first release to when their discography is built up & they have some stain. Dhruvy's definitely got a few fans over here with us, & we encourage you to jump on the train as well before he blows up.
