Abraham Westlund Will Not 'Let You Down' With This Heartfelt Single

With cuffing season long gone, the heartbreak of ended relationships settles in colder than the lingering winter weather, and Abraham Westlund's latest might be the perfect soundtrack for the sadness.

It's not often I hear an artist truly dig deep and draw on such genuine emotions, but this song feels like a page straight from Westlund's diary. Touching on a variety of emotions all surrounding the loss of love, it's hard not to feel something when you hit play on this song. Lyrics like "you said I was a king, but you took my crown" paint an all-too relevant picture of being torn down by someone whom you thought loved you. I appreciate however the undertone of hope that comes with the track, like a sense that everything will be okay in the end. You can even see that notion presented in the cover art, as Westlund wears the same crown that was taken from him before.

This St. Paul-native artist is definitely someone that should be on your radar in 2023. Give the song a listen in our playlist below and let us know what you think!
